"Alina creates in the kitchen" is an active exhibition designed for boys and girls, inviting them to explore the world of cooking in a playful, sensorial, and creative way.
At the center of the exhibition is Alina, the protagonist of the silent book series "The Adventures of Alina" (Cni Editore).
Marina Rivera, an Argentine graphic designer and illustrator, created this character to convey to children the values of interculturalism, children's rights, and respect for the environment.
For this exhibition, the artist reflected on goal three of the 2030 Agenda for Health and Well-being, focusing specifically on children's nutrition and the proposed strategies. These strategies aim to create environments conducive to a healthy lifestyle, promote nutritional awareness, limit advertising for unhealthy foods, and develop prevention in healthcare and school programs.
Alina, curious and enterprising, always ready to experiment, accompanies young visitors on a discovery of food, the gestures of cooking, and the pleasure of creating together.
A workshop of creativity and knowledge, experimentation, discovery, and self-learning through play, interactive images, materials to touch, scents to smell, and small activities to try.
The exhibition stimulates curiosity, a sense of autonomy, and imagination.
