An Evening with the Luthier
On October 22, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, at the SPAZIO GEM association, we will have the pleasure of hosting Franco Montuori, a scholar of Italian artistic lutherie. He will aim to unveil how the great Cremonese luthiers built their musical instruments—still sought after today by the world’s finest performers for their inimitable sound.
The various stages of instrument construction will be revealed, including violins, violas, guitars, and the different phases of varnishing, accompanied by an exhibition of several instruments.
