Liana Zanfrisco presents her new collection of contemporary drawings in her open studio in Rome, showcasing an exploration of the human face. The artworks on display are the result of her creative process throughout 2023-2024, starting from self-portraiture and evolving through collage and cutout techniques. Using an artistic scalpel, the artist dissects and reassembles facial elements, creating a dialogue between reality and abstraction. The intervention on paper resembles an inner surgery, revealing hidden layers of identity. The goal of the event is to introduce the artist to the Roman art scene and foster dialogue with collectors, critics, and gallery owners, while exploring her most recent artistic journey.
