The photographic exhibition offers a journey behind the scenes of films, through a series of scene photographs taken during filming. Each image captures the essence of cinema, revealing moments of intimacy and magic that often remain hidden from the eyes of the viewer.

The photographer's goal, using a delicate and never invasive gaze, is to bring to light the moments of complicity between the actors, the tension before a crucial scene, and the hidden details of the set that contribute to creating the atmosphere of a film. His photography is focused on the presentation of evocative human portraits, human psychology becomes central. The subjects he chooses are thoughtful and dreamy, subjects that seem to hide some imperceptible secret. This collection of photos is a tribute to the world of cinema, a visual story that reveals what happens when the camera stops rolling.

Matteo Casilli was born in Rome in 1983. After graduating in Literature and Philosophy, he graduated in 2009 from the "Scuola Romana di Fotografia".
