S/Ensō
Circle of Illumination Strength - Absolute Universe and Absolute Void - Instinct and Reason - Everything and Nothing - Inner World and Outer World - Perpetual cyclical change - Union of opposites - The fullness of the circle and the void within - Union and the beginning of the end - Perfect Imperfection Acceptance self-improvement or jealous protection of one's vital space? The ensō is never closure, and the senses are the tools of knowledge and definition of our self.
sENSE i The sense of sight is the most dominant and is often considered the absolute truth. We tend to believe that only what we can see exists, but sight can also be deceptive. It can lead us to believe in illusions and appearances that are not real. What matters is not how we appear, but rather the virtual representation of our appearance.
II Sense: "Touch - the sense of senses. It is the most private and sensual sense, and also the most rational and closest to our identity. Touch represents the subtle boundary between desire and endurance, as it involves overcoming our identity. It is the most material and corporeal sense, and the tool we use to transform intangible ideas into tangible forms. Both the skin and the tongue are involved in touch, making it intimate, personal, rational, and even somewhat irrational. It serves as a limit and an exploration, a boundary and a springboard to the external world. Touch is what triumphs in life, in sex, and through which sex triumphs."
III Sense:Hearing is the vibration that transforms into electrical stimulus. It's the paradox of the most ethereal of our senses, as we process it through physical stimulation. This translates well in Italian because "Sentire" goes beyond "Udito". Close your eyes and listen to yourself. Listen to yourself without judging. Look at yourself from the outside, observe your body, and listen to your essence. You can't change it, but you can try to perceive it. You can't change the past or predict the future. Live in the moment and listen to yourself without prejudice. Here and Now.
IV Sense: Taste - Tasting and smelling are the two chemical modes of knowledge. Intimately connected with emotions and appetites. Feared for their abilities to unleash passions and subdue reason. Taste is subjective, explosive, and transcendent. It is beyond the here and now because it transports us to another dimension of knowledge far from here, beyond what we see, and beyond what we can touch or see.
V Sense: "The sense of smell is the most primitive and animalistic sense we possess. We often downplay its significance, preferring to emphasize the superiority of the mind and rationality over our senses and instincts. However, smell quietly influences our unconscious decisions. It seems to be a battle between the heart and reason, but could it actually be the sense of smell that plays a crucial role? Smell is rooted in pure chemistry, yet it is also tied to our breath, allowing the external world to enter us physically. This presents another paradox of the senses."
VI Sense: Sex-Sexnsõ -Forget about touch. Reason will tell you that touch is important in sex, and the senses triumph in touch. Beyond reason, taste and smell are the true dominators of our most unconscious choices. Sexual emotions are pure chemistry and physics. Sex is instinctual, not rational, and no sense is less influenced by reason than smell. It's primal, instinctive, dangerous, and irrational. Taste is chemistry. Sex is chemistry. It's an explosion, transcending reality and bodily barriers. Sight is about rationality and illusion; sex is the triumph of all senses, and all senses are elevated in sex.
