Studio Quipu continues the artistic season with a calendar full of events: exhibitions, meetings on poetry, literature, theater and cinema. With the participation of national and international artists, there will be performances, photography exhibitions, events that will combine ancient techniques with contemporary contaminations, with both figurative and abstract works.
On the occasion of the collective exhibition "Suspended Quantities" the artists will show their works to support a campaign of valorization and artistic dissemination of the code of ancient Peru, giving shape to an ideal "message factory". The Quipu, which means "knot" and which the couriers passed from hand to hand, was the means closest to writing that South American man had at his disposal. Consisting of a main rope from which other smaller strings of various colors dangled, interspersed with knots at regular intervals.
