Studio Quipu continues its artistic season with a calendar full of events: exhibitions, poetry meetings, literature, theater and cinema. With the participation of national and international artists, there will be performances, photography exhibitions, and events combining ancient techniques with contemporary contaminations, with both figurative and abstract works.
At the group exhibition "Suspended Quantities," artists will show their works to support a campaign to enhance and popularize the code of ancient Peru artistically, shaping an ideal "message factory." The Quipu, which means "knot" and which couriers passed from hand to hand, was the closest medium to writing available to man in South America. Consisting of a main string from which dangled other smaller strings of various colors interspersed at regular intervals by knots.
Pierre Perroncini will perform on Saturday 28th with an experimental DJ set by @leimichimica2lose entitled "In my Marseillaise Park, at the foot of the Japanese peach trees, my prostitutes breastfeed my soldier children scented with mint tea"
