But what if real life was elsewhere?

A walk in deafening silence, in a suspended space, where the soul takes on another life.

The idea for this collection was born in 2021, following a virtual meeting with Ida Marinella Rigo.

In 2015 I took my photos in the Pizzoli Cemetery, focusing on the shadows and the clear geometriesof the funerary chapels. Looking back at them, I realized that there was more than the image and Iwondered if it was possible to represent the depth of that silence, made up of souls, memories,affections and regrets. So, reflecting on this, I came across the shots of Ida Marinella Rigo in theMonumental Cemetery in Milan. We contacted each other and this is how this four-handed project was born.

A walk in silence brought us together hundreds of kilometers away.
