STOP TIME, SIT DOWN
HAVE YOUR PORTRAIT TAKEN
A portrait is an ambiguous document; it moves between the face and the mask. Portrait photography is a closed field of forces.
Four imaginaries meet, confront one another, deform and transform each other. In front of the camera, I am simultaneously: what I believe I am, what I would like people to believe I am, what the photographer believes I am, and what he uses to display his art.
On the occasion of the White Night of Art Schools, with the patronage of the City of Rome and the Lazio Region, the Centro Sperimentale di Fotografia Adams invites you to stop time and have your portrait taken.
An opportunity to have a portrait of yourself, your family, or anyone you wish to preserve in time.
We will take the portrait in the studio using a large-format view camera.
Then, in the darkroom, we will do the rest.
