After a nearly two-year hiatus, Takeawaygallery is opening a new location, with its exhibition space in Centocelle, a neighborhood of Rome, but above all, an urban laboratory that speaks to the whole city — and perhaps to many other realities across Italy as well.
In an increasingly fast-paced and frenetic world, Centocelle continues to seek a balance between past and future, between identity and openness, between resilience and transformation. It is here that Takeawaygallery has chosen to open a space dedicated to exhibitions of photography and sculpture, while remaining true to the vocation reflected in its extensive history: environmental installations and events in public and private spaces, both here and in other territories.
