Francesco Melaragni opens the doors of his small home-studio in Rome for an exclusive event during Rome Art Week 2026.
Widely known for his long and award-winning career in public architecture, restoration, and signature design with melaragni+campagna archimmagine studio, Melaragni reveals on this occasion the most intimate core of his production: painting. This passion, always cultivated in synergy with architectural design, has found an independent and steady formal expression since 2012.
The open studio unfolds as a tactile and conceptual journey between empathy and abstraction, where the artworks reflect on man's 'poetic' dwelling, exploring the archetype of the house, the 'house of Adam in paradise', within an ongoing dialogue between 'earth and sky'.
The event will take place on October 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, at the artist's studio in the historic San Lorenzo district, inside Palazzo Lamperini, located at Via Tiburtina 180, int.58, Rome. Visitors, collectors, and art lovers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the artist's creative space—transformed into an art gallery—to engage in direct dialogue with him and discover how to re-establish an authentic connection between the reasons for building and the profound needs of human life, recalling the ideal dwelling.
