HARTOUR – LISTENING TO ART: NEW FORMS OF CULTURAL STORYTELLING | 23 Oct 2026 | Rome Art Week

HARTOUR – LISTENING TO ART: NEW FORMS OF CULTURAL STORYTELLING

An event with the creators of Hartour, the geolocated audio guide app designed to transform a visit to a city, museum, or art venue into an experience to listen to, explore, and enjoy.

HARTOUR – LISTENING TO ART: NEW FORMS OF CULTURAL STORYTELLING

The event will also be an opportunity to reflect on how new technologies can expand access to art and enhance the cultural experience, break down language barriers, create new paths to knowledge, and bring culture, tourism and innovation into dialogue.

Participants will have the opportunity to discover how Hartour works directly from its creators, test the app live, and explore how a digital platform can become a valuable tool for museums, artists, galleries and cultural organisations.

During the evening, the app’s founders will present the project, sharing the story behind its creation, the technologies driving its development — with a particular focus on the role of Artificial Intelligence in generating multilingual audio content — and its potential applications in the world of art and culture.

Hartour uses interactive maps, geolocation and audio storytelling to guide visitors as they discover monuments, museums and cultural routes.

A new way to connect with cultural heritage through storytelling that enriches the experience without ever replacing the visit itself.

An event for anyone interested in the future of cultural engagement and the new ways in which the stories of places, artworks and people can be told and heard.

We invite you to download Hartour before the event and try out its features for yourself!
