The exhibition explores psychological and verbal violence against women—an invisible form of abuse often concealed behind words of love, attention and promises. Through a gradual journey from seduction to control, vibrant colours, hearts and seemingly joyful forms are transformed into bonds, cages and chains. Using her distinctive “Baroccopop” language, Roberta Pietra portrays manipulation, devaluation and the loss of personal space, while also evoking the possibility of gaining awareness, resisting and reclaiming one’s own voice.
