Angela Paniccia is a multidisciplinary artist and interior designer, founder of PAMAIA Design & Decor. Her artistic research stems from an interest in transformation: objects, paper, furnishings and existing materials become the starting point for creating new forms, surfaces and meanings.
Reclamation is not understood as simple reuse, but as a creative and narrative act capable of restoring uniqueness to matter. Her work moves freely between sculpture, decoration, light and spatial design, without being tied to a single language. Her current research focuses particularly on contemporary papier-mâché, which she uses to create figures, busts, lamps and tactile works where irony, imperfection and identity coexist.
The female figure lies at the heart of her most recent research, but does not define its boundaries. Rather, it becomes a theme through which she explores transformation, freedom, fragility and strength. In her work, art and space are in constant dialogue, giving life to environments, objects and artworks conceived as presences capable of telling a story.
