The scrapbooking business is a creative hobby of creating custom albums to preserve photographs, memories, and memorabilia (such as cards, clippings, letters, etc.) in an artistic and meaningful way.
WHAT DO YOU DO IN SCRAPBOOKING?
Who practices scrapbooking:
It collects significant materials (photos, postcards, receipts, dried flowers, travel tickets, etc);
Decorate pages with graphic elements: stickers, stamps, ribbons, colored papers, drawings, washi tapes, buttons and other embellishments;
Writes texts, phrases, quotes or journaling to tell emotions, memories or contexts linked to the material collected;
Organize pages according to a theme (travel, weddings, friendships, birthdays, etc.) or in chronological order.
MOST USED TOOLS:
Albums or ring notebooks;
Patterned papers, cardstocks;
Glue, scissors, cutters, decorative perforators;
Stamps and inks;
Pens and markers;
Die-cutters and punches;
Various embellishments (stickers, buttons, ribbons...).
WHY DO IT?
To preserve memories in an original way;
To relax: it is a creative and anti-stress activity;
To express yourself artistically, even without being “good at drawing”;
