Girls on Legs

An event within the "WOMEN" exhibition reserved for Fausto Delle Chiaie's gaze on the female world.

"Girls on Legs"

Irony, a sign of the artist, on this occasion is reserved for the female figure, whose strength, determination or ability to amaze from time to time he celebrates.

Fausto Delle Chiaie, a significant work of which is exhibited at the Farnesina Collection, which brings together the most popular contemporary Italian artists, said in this regard "finally exhibited in a safe place". For over 30 years, in fact, he worked in an open-air museum, in Piazza Augusto Imperatore, where he was at the same time the creator and custodian of the works on the street. An original art of which it has been written that "honored the country and the city of Rome in particular with ironic genius". There the works were exposed to passage and interaction with an improvised audience, works by everyone, according to his vision of "democratic art".

On display today are canvases and sculptures, all representative of an aspect of the feminine captured in its essence by the author's great introspective and empathetic ability.
