The vegetarian restaurant Il Margutta Veggy Food & Art is hosting “Risvegli”, the solo exhibition of artist Antonio La Rosa, who presents a selection of his most significant works. With a language that blends painting and sculpture, La Rosa invites the public to reflect on the human condition within an increasingly frenetic and alienating urban context.

A journey through emotion and modernity
The works on display represent the perfect synthesis of an artist who has made reflection on the contemporary world the core of his research. La Rosa does not simply capture reality, he transforms it into an emotional narrative that challenges viewers to reconsider their relationship with their surroundings. Among the most representative works is Risvegli (2021), the large canvas that gives its name to the entire exhibition, encapsulating La Rosa’s poetic tension between human fragility and vital impulse. With Una giocata di troppo (2024), the artist confronts the contradictions of modern life, between risk and uncertainty, capturing on canvas the restless energy of our time.

Through paintings such as Stato meditativo (2021) and Moon’s Silence (2018), La Rosa explores the individual’s inner conflict, suspended between apparent calm and inner turbulence, evoking feelings of solitude and introspection through an intense and evocative color palette.
