ONE SQUARE KILOMETRE – HARVEST

VOKIANA presents “One Square Kilometre – Harvest”, a project between art and social engagement exploring the human–land relationship and the impact of war in Ukraine through agricultural landscapes and collective memory.

CONTART Gallery presents “One Square Kilometre – Harvest”, a solo exhibition by Ukrainian artist VOKIANA (Natalia Voronkina), one of the leading voices of the Ukrainian diaspora in Rome. The project brings together art and social engagement, exploring the relationship between human beings and the land, as well as the impact of the war in Ukraine, with a particular focus on agricultural territories.

On the occasion of RAW for Peace – Roma Art Week, the exhibition features a video art installation addressing the issue of mined fields and their humanitarian and environmental implications.

The event will take place at CONTART Gallery’s secondary location in Via Candia 25, Rome.
