BLU INDACO - HIC ET NUNC
The concept of *Hic et Nunc*—"suspending the frenzy"—draws upon a profound and ancient philosophical idea.
In philosophy, the act of pausing the external world, judgments, and the chaotic flow of reality is known as *epoché* (ἐποχή)—a Greek term literally meaning "suspension."
I sought to integrate this concept into my painting practice. Pausing on moments rooted in the present instant elevates a dimension where chronological time stands still, making way for pure perception. *Hic et Nunc*—here and now—transforms the artwork into a threshold between the visible world and the inner realm, a meeting point where the viewer is invited to step away from daily frenzy and inhabit the moment.
