My journey begins with a humanistic education at the University of Naples “L’Orientale,” where I earned a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures with a specialization in Art History. I later deepened my curatorial practice through a Master’s in Art Curating at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York. This path allowed me to develop an international critical perspective, combining historical research, theoretical reflection, and a strong focus on the transformations of the contemporary art system. A fundamental part of my growth is linked to the fifteen years I spent in Dubai, where I worked as a VIP First Class Flight Attendant for Emirates Airline. This experience gave me the opportunity to travel the world, visiting museums and galleries worldwide, and enriching my visual and cultural sensitivity. While in Dubai, I also collaborated with Ayyam Gallery and participated in Dubai Art Week (2017–2019), engaging directly with a dynamic and cosmopolitan art scene that helped refine my curatorial vision. Over the years, I have had the privilege to collaborate with prestigious institutions such as Gagosian Gallery (New York), where I work as a freelance curator, and Singulart (Paris), an international platform through which I carry out critical projects and digital collections dedicated to both emerging and established artists. In parallel, I curated exhibitions that foster dialogue between artists and local contexts, such as the project dedicated to Juan Trinidad in Todi (Umbria, 2025) in collaboration with the Dominican Embassy, and the International Biennale of Art of the Roman Riviera (2025), also realized with the support of the Embassy. My curatorial research focuses on the language of contemporary art in its many forms—from surrealism to abstraction as demonstrated by projects such as Voices of Surrealism, Suspended Lives, and La Danse Suspendue. In each exhibition, I strive to build a bridge between artist and audience, making the work accessible without ever stripping it of its complexity and authenticity.
I believe that curating is an act of cultural and critical mediation, capable of revealing new interpretations and creating connections between different cultures and sensibilities. For me, every project is an opportunity to expand the dialogue between artwork and audience, celebrating the transformative power of art.
