Matteo Chincarini, art curator, artistic consultant, and founder of Chincarini Eventi. My professional journey is rooted in the intersection of art, cultural project development, and the enhancement of spaces, with the aim of transforming every project into an experience that creates meaningful connections between artists, artworks, places, and audiences.

Since 2009, I have worked in the fields of art and cultural events, developing and coordinating exhibitions, curatorial projects, and initiatives dedicated to promoting contemporary culture. In 2018, I founded Chincarini Eventi, through which I pursue a curatorial vision that brings together research, project development, and communication, collaborating with artists, institutions, galleries, companies, and private organisations.

My education at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan has helped shape an approach that combines a strong focus on artistic research with a clear project-oriented perspective. In my work, I consider space to be a fundamental element of the narrative: not simply a container for artworks, but an integral part of the exhibition experience, capable of engaging in dialogue with the works and influencing the way they are perceived.

My curatorial practice begins with listening to and engaging in dialogue with artists, seeking to highlight their identity, research, and artistic language through coherent and contemporary exhibition narratives. I believe in a form of curatorship that makes art accessible without oversimplifying it, creating opportunities for encounters and offering audiences new perspectives.

For me, every project represents a balance between vision and execution: from artist selection and concept development to the relationship with the space, communication, and the final production of the event. My aim is to shape distinctive cultural projects capable of generating value, dialogue, and new opportunities.

Ultimately, I see curatorship as a practice of connection: bringing people, ideas, and artistic languages together to create authentic, contemporary cultural experiences.

Il mio percorso professionale nasce dall’incontro tra arte, progettazione culturale e valorizzazione degli spazi, con l’obiettivo di trasformare ogni progetto in un’esperienza capace di creare connessioni tra artisti, opere, luoghi e pubblico.

Dal 2009 lavoro nell’ambito dell’arte e degli eventi culturali, sviluppando e coordinando mostre, progetti espositivi e iniziative dedicate alla promozione della cultura contemporanea. Nel 2018 ho fondato Chincarini Eventi, realtà attraverso la quale porto avanti una visione curatoriale che unisce ricerca, progettazione e comunicazione, collaborando con artisti, istituzioni, gallerie, aziende e realtà private.

La mia formazione presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera ha contribuito a costruire un approccio attento sia alla ricerca artistica sia alla dimensione progettuale. Nel mio lavoro considero lo spazio un elemento fondamentale del racconto: non un semplice contenitore, ma una parte integrante dell’esperienza espositiva, capace di dialogare con le opere e di influenzarne la percezione.

La mia attività curatoriale parte dall’ascolto e dal confronto con gli artisti, cercando di valorizzarne l’identità, la ricerca e il linguaggio attraverso percorsi espositivi coerenti e contemporanei. Credo in una curatela capace di rendere l’arte accessibile senza semplificarla, creando occasioni di incontro e nuove prospettive per il pubblico.

Ogni progetto rappresenta per me un equilibrio tra visione e concretezza: dalla selezione degli artisti alla costruzione del concept, dalla relazione con gli spazi alla comunicazione, fino alla realizzazione dell’evento. Il mio obiettivo è dare forma a progetti culturali riconoscibili, capaci di generare valore, dialogo e nuove opportunità.

La mia idea di curatela è, in definitiva, un lavoro di relazione: mettere in connessione persone, idee e linguaggi per costruire esperienze artistiche autentiche, contemporanee e memorabili.
