Maria Arcidiacono, born in Rome on December 8th 1965, is an archaeologist, an art historian and curator, collaborates with newspapers, magazines and publishing companies.

At present, for the publishing company “ERMA” di BRETSCHNEIDER she’s curing the project "Tesori d'Arte e di Fede". Il patrimonio architettonico e artistico del Fondo Edifici di Culto del Ministero dell’Interno ", an encyclopedia in four volumes about the churches owned by F.E.C ..

From 2009 she is editor at the webmagazine artapartofculture.net ( https://www.artapartofculture.net/author/maria_arcidiacono/).

Between 2003 and 2007 she collaborated with the magazine "Archeo".

 

She is in charge of curating and writing critical texts for exhibition events in institutional spaces and in several private capitoline galleries.

from 9 to 14 October 2017, at the MagmaSpaceLab in Rome, Andrea Aquilanti, Stefano Esposito and Gianni Fiorito exhibition "Arcacci. Vedute contemporanee degli acquedotti romani”;

from 8 to 11 June 2017 “Torriflumen. Invasioni d’Arte a Torrita Tiberina (RM)” public art collective exhibition within the Literature and Science Festival;

from 6 May to 30 June 2017 “Atene Brucia”, Alessandro Calizza exhibition at Museo dell’Arte Classica, Sapienza University in Rome;

in Roma Capitale Sala Santa Rita, with Lori Adragna, the Susanne Kessler exhibition “Scudi”, from 6 to 14 July 2016.
