Participating Artists
The Monte Mario Artists Collective has been participating in Rome Art Week since 2019 with collective exhibitions hosted in Nina's Garden, a private space of artist Nina Razzaboni. The theme of the exhibitions is always related to current events and involves an active group work based on discussion and in-depth exploration of topics such as the environment, contemporary Roman life, inclusion, freedom of expression, the right to pleasure, reading... It is also active in the territory with street art events, markets, and festivals. The aim is a redevelopment that can be both material and immaterial. On Guadalupe Square and via Giannina Milli, there are street art works created by the collective during the Night of Artists of Monte Mario event. It has been present in Tuscia with exhibitions on Pasolini and participation in the Falling Stars Review, and in the Pontine Plain in various editions of Maggio Sermonetano and at the InSania Festival in Cori. It is a particularly diverse and transversal reality both from a generational point of view and regarding the educational backgrounds of the different artists. The workshops are therefore important moments of meeting and exchange of skills and perspectives, from which interesting exhibitions and collective works have originated.
