Someshwarananda (Pramod Kumar Shakya) was born in Surkhet, Nepal on December 3, 1971. He graduated from the Fine Art College of Kathmandu, Nepal in 1995. After a year he left his country and went to India in search of his spiritual path and in 2003 he became a Sadhu (monk). Since 2013 he has lived in Rome, Italy, where he teaches Yoga and Meditation and continues to express her passion for art through watercolor painting but also acrylic on canvas.

His art is strongly characterized by the existential and spiritual experiences that he has lived firsthand and that have given life to paintings that express the intense research and personal and interior growth of the artist in which the pleasure but also the intensity of their experience is visible in the eyes of the subjects represented.
