Giuseppe Bartolomei

Abstract artist that lives and works in Rome. He is in a collab with Velia Littera's art gallery. In this phase he represents walls on canvas. The walls have a poetic and metaphysical dimension. Speak of what has been lost and what remains, with their scratches, their paint strippers, their abrasions. Giuseppe bartolomei paints on canvas, using acrylic paint, wet cement and vinavil. He participates in this year's VI edition of RAW with one artwork: "Nessuno".

We don't find out we're vulnerable, We just are. The last events reminded us about that. We think we are invincible and this way we are disconnected from everything even from ourselves. “Nessuno” is the glance that we give to our hands while they free colours, so that the canvas can offer a speck of freedom. Freedom of being everything and so being nothing at all. (Nessuno, canvas 60x80, acrylic, 2021)
