Massimiliano Ferragina (Girifalco CZ 1977). Graduated in Philosophy (1998) and Theology (2001) at the Pontifical Gregorian University. License in Pastoral Theology (2004) at the Pontifical Lateran University, Master's Degree in Religious Pedagogy (2013) at the Pontifical Salesian University. Teacher and vice-principal at the Primo Liceo artistica “Via di Ripetta” in Rome.
Contemporary painter, promoter of visual arts, lecturer. He has held numerous group and solo exhibitions both in Italy and abroad.
His artistic expression is significantly influenced by both his academic path and by a three-month trip to South America and three formative experiences as an artist in Paris (2005), Dublin (2011) and Copenhagen (2012). He made his debut in Italy in January 2012, with the Open Art award, at the Bramante rooms in Piazza del Popolo (RM), a historicized award organized by the Monogramma gallery located in via Margutta. From 2018 to 2022 he hosted a radio art program APP’ARTE on radio Ciak due Mari. He writes about contemporary art in various magazines. He collaborated with the Holy See newspaper “L’Osservatore Romano” with articles on contemporary art in the year 2022. He hosted a television art program “Arte più” from 2021 to 2023 on Canale 10. He published his first book with ed. Palumbi LE BEATITUDINI AL CONTRARIO February 2017.
