Roberto Piloni (Rome 1966), for ages engaged in a analysis of the essential painting space structures, in the last works has led his attention towards an investigation which considers the space relationship as more important and does him also installed with various languages, from the photography to the video to the loud installations.
He has taken part recently in many personal exposures and collective, in public and private spaces among which ones to the “Galleria Comunale d’Arte Contemporanea” of Ciampino (1999), “L’Arte a Roma” to the “Ex Mattatoio” of Rome in 1997, the participations to various exhibition to the “Complesso Monumentale di S.Michele a Ripa” (1993-1998), to the “Accademia Nazionale di San Luca” (2001-2004) and to “Chiostro del Bramante” in Rome (2000), to the “Galleria Martano” in Torino (2003), to the “Studio Tommaseo” of Trieste (2002), the interventions inside the “Torre d’Orlando” to Castiglione della Valle (PG) (2005), to the “Centro Arte Contemporanea Bannata" of P.za Armerina (EN) (2004) or the participation to the “ Anteprima” of the “XIV Quadriennale” to Palazzo Reale in Napoli (2003) and to the “Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna” of Rome with the project “Tribù della Memoria” (2005). In 2007 the solo exhibition " Unica uscita l’entrata" and in 2008 “Doppio peso”, to the L.A.C. Gallery (Rome).
He teaches to the “Accademia di Belle Arti” of Rome.
