Sandra Gianesini
The identity of her painting comes through memories and places. It describes moods in dreamy, lighthearted atmospheres. Light and movement are the focus of her art work.
Data and contact details

(Sion, Switzerland 1978)

Born in Switzerland, she receives as a child the passion for painting from her father, Augusto Gianesini, a painter himself.

In 2002, she moves to Rome where she starts painting and studying with artists from different backgrounds. Oil, pastels, watercolours, charcoal, and luminescence, every technique is interesting for her to experiment.  Light and movement are at the core of her work. Either the city architecture and nature inspire her, whether she works in Italy or in her Swiss mountains.

Since June 2022 she opens her own studio in the heart of Garbatella (Piazza Sauli 5), where she paints, shows her work and hosts workshops, exhibitions and art courses.
