Giovanni is an artist living in London and studying Photography and Visual Arts at Camberwell College of Arts. His artistic career began with the experimentation of photography, he received a prize from the University of the Arts London for an artistic residence in the CAFA Academy of Art in Beijing.
In favor of the experimentation and deepening of his research he approached performance and sculpture. This new study has led himto the investigation of the relationship between performer and audience and the role that sculpture plays in performance art.
He has exhibited in several European cities such as London at London's CGP Gallery for the Unit event , a selection of young London artists invited to exhibit a representative work of their art practice; in The Hague for the performance art festival This is Live !, an event that celebrates performance as an artistic medium in the present moment; and in Rome for Shapes exhibition, curated by the collective Astarte, who discovers young talents in art and music by performing them in events with different themes.
Giovanni was selected to attend to the Florence Biennale, which will be held on October 2017 at the Fortezza da Basso, Florence. The event brings together hundreds of artists from all over the world, all competing for the Lorenzo il Magnifico prize.
