Federica Di Pietrantonio Federicadipiet was born in 1996 in Rome, where she works and study. In 2014 she starts studying Painting at RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts. In 2017 she took part at Mediterranea 18 Young Artists Biennale. The year ahead she has been selected for V_AIR 2018 artist in residence and moved her studio at Spazio Insitu. In September 2018 she moved to KASK – School of Arts van de HoGent (Gent, Belgium) in order to work on her thesis project in Painting. Her artistic research focuses on the verge between virtual reality and actual reality, always referring to the world of art’s iconographic dynamics. Federica Di Pietrantonio experiments different mediums, from painting to installation art, from virtual reality to web design.
