YAJAIRA M. PIRELA M. Abstract expressionist painter, in addition to her classical studies in Spain, in Rome she obtained the title of legal interpreter-translator. She has always complemented these studies with academic theoretical and practical art studies. She focuses her art away from any academicism, although she is convinced that it is indispensable; as early as the 1990s, she adheres to the Tachisme technique, focusing her study on depth and colour. She began her painting activity at a very young age, exhibiting in solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. The constant research in her work led her to listing at auctions entering the international market, her works are present in numerous public collections such as the Opera Campana dei Caduti Foundation of Rovereto, Chamber of Commerce of Vibo Valentia, GianFranco Lupo Foundation of Matera; and private collections in Italy and abroad. Winner of numerous prizes and awards, she is featured in publications and art catalogues.
