Ferdinando Carbone was born and lives in Rome. From absolute self-taught, he embarked on an artistic journey aimed at experimenting with a personal communicative language that goes beyond the canonical perception of reality. The result is an aggressive and instinctive style, characterized by the use of clear and contrasting colors in an extreme synthesis of shapes and signs. His paintings go beyond the classical figurative and cross into another reality, in which the figures often progressively lose all realistic connotations, characterizing themselves in an essential representation that sometimes becomes a fairy tale, or slipping into an even dreamlike setting. In December 2017 he was selected by BNL Paribas to exhibit his works as a testimonial in the fundraising of the Telethon Foundation at the headquarters in Rome. From June to September 2018 he exhibits his works at the Hybris Art Gallery in Rome. In 2018 he was selected for the Palermo International Art Award for the Roma Caput Mundi Award and for the Maestro da Museo Competition with exhibition at the Civic Museum of Monreale. In 2020 he participates in the fifth edition of the Rome Art Week event. His works were published in Art Now magazine in December 2018 and February 2019.Since 2019 some works have been exhibited in Rome, at the Pavart Gallery.
