My name is Marco Salvetti, I love art in all its forms, from painting to life itself as a work of art. I was born in 1976 in Rome.

In my paintings I seek that need to stop and "essential" that I feel very strong inside me, that slowness and that silence that allow you to feel things, people and all of creation, in one word God, because it is He which in the end I try to represent in every work of mine, ... even if it never comes as I would like.

I paint simplicity and not mystery so that even a child can understand and find himself in my works. There are no such elements in my paintings as I do not want there in my life.

I use different styles to represent these thoughts and moods, but the material art is my favorite: plastic, stucco, wood, iron and everything that somehow stimulates my passion and imagination. I like to give depth to my paintings because it seems to me that somehow they become more real, tangible, and therefore closer to the viewer that becomes an integral part of the work.

Fire and the moon are the most recurrent elements in my paintings; the first represents that inner fire that I feel very strong within me, it is the fire that keeps my Life alive, which in reality is my soul. The moon, on the other hand, represents that need to look upwards to find answers to the deepest questions of the human being, as well as to be a life companion and sweet adviser to me.

Spiritual Art is the most profound key to my work. From the aesthetic point of view I would define it instead as Oniric Art, for the sensation that my works evoke for most of the spectators, which defines my paintings as a journey between dream, faith and reality, where the dream is understood as a desire for a Life new, which then becomes reality ... impossible passage without the Faith.
