SILVIA IORIO is an Italian Multimedia Artist, born in Rome in 1977. 

Already active in Berlin for a decade, today she lives and works in Umbria. 

She exhibited her installations and artworks collaborating with many important institutions, national and foreign, including: Royal Carribbean International (Miami, USA); EXPO (Milan, IT);  Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation (Turin, IT); smArt Foundation (Rome, IT); Kulturhaus III&70 (Hamburg, DE); MACRO Contemporary Art Museum (Rome, IT); Rendez Vous Mit Kunst (Berlin, DE); London Metropolitan University with The Whitechapel Gallery (London, UK); Auditorium Parco della Musica (Rome, IT); Italian Embassy (Beijing, PRC); Biennial of Art (Venice, IT); and Palazzo delle Esposizioni (Rome, IT). 

Moreover, Silvia Iorio, coming from studies in Molecular Biology, since the beginning of her career, deepens the binomial combination Art/Science, exhibiting also in Scientific Research Institutes, such as: INFINI.TO Planetarium and Astronomical Observatory (Turin, IT); MAKRÁČ Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry (Prague, CS); INFN National Institute of Nuclear Physics (Frascati, IT); and MURST Ministry of the University for Scientific and Technological Research (Rome, IT). 

In addition, is worth mentioning her participation in Art Fairs, such as: Art First (Bologna, IT); Artissima (Turin, IT); and an event in the context of Art Basel (Basel, CH).

Her work is attested in Public and Private Collections, including: MAMCO Musée d'Art Moderne et Contemporain (Geneva, CH); MFA Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Rome, IT); Austrian Cultural Forum (Rome, IT); Fondazione smArt (Rome, IT); Marzotto Group (Rome, IT; Vicenza, IT; Paris, FR); Luciano Benetton Collection (Treviso, IT); OVS SpA (Venice, IT); Banco di Napoli (Neaples, IT); Generali Italia (Rome, IT); Fondazione Pier Lombardo (Milan, IT); AGNELLI Industries (Bergamo, IT); Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza Al Zayed Al Nayan (Abu Dhabi, UAE).

Finally, Iorio’s Art has already been the subject of Auction at the Christie’s Auction House and will be auctioned soon in Autumn at the Arcadia Auction House.
