I was born in Pesaro in 1965. My self-taught training took place through various artistic, cultural and political initiatives  promoted by the the libertarian  and underground area by proposing experimental painting in the context of unconventional  locations. In 1990 I obtained a degree in economic and social sciences in Milan. In the 90s I continued my research by experimenting with the most complex expressive forms of collage and making this technique the foundation of my art. The material I use is glossy paper from popular magazines, pages full of infinite images, codes, suggestions to stick to in the illusion of being adequate. Objects, looks, but also ideas, choices, behaviors. For years I have been studying and decomposing these images to subvert their original purpose and thus create a new visual language. My cuts try to modify the initial meanings and reveal the hidden signs. The fragments thus become material to compose new scenarios. I have lived in several Italian cities, in Asia and in New York. Since 2008 I have been living and working in Rome where in 2022 I opened Studio Ca.Sa with the artist Caterina Pini in the Tiburtina district. Some of my works have been acquired by private collectors, others are present in the archives of some galleries. I have collaborated with various galleries, associations and groups of artists to realize solo and collective exhibition projects, documented on the web. Part of my works are published in catalogues accompanied by critical notes from the curators. My artistic career is documented on the website:   https://www.saveriofeligini.com .
