Carolina Lombardi
Her work experiments with different media, from textiles to video, from light to site-specific installation. The weavings, with a clear allusion to relational dynamics, initially created with various types of yarn, evolve into luminous installations.

Carolina Lombardi was born in 1965 in Rome, where she lives and works. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and the Central Institute for Restoration (ICR) in Rome, working for several years in the field of conservation of wall paintings and paintings on panel and canvas.  It has been exhibited in institutional venues, including the National Museum of Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome, the Hendrik Christian Andersen House Museum in Rome, the Carlo Bilotti Museum in Rome, and the MUACC Museum in Cagliari. Rai Cultura dedicated a feature to her as part of the exhibition Ricamando il Caos at the H.C.Andersen Museum.

She has taken part in several transdisciplinary talks on the theme of networks and interconnection. Her activity also extends into the literary field with the publication of poetry collections and participation in numerous poetry readings at the Gallery of Modern Art of Rome Capitale, public parks, and the Regina Coeli Prison.
