Data and contact details

Born in Madrid, Spain, on January 20, 1953, he has lived in Rome since 1980, where he worked at the Spanish Embassy. However, he has never abandoned painting, which he has cultivated since he was a boy and resumed with greater continuity after his retirement in February 2020. Primarily self-taught in the most common painting techniques (oil, watercolor, acrylic on paper, canvas, panel, etc.), he attended courses in ceramics and basic sculpture, with a special focus on anatomy (human and comparative), taught by Professor Luigi Sabbadini (1980-1982), and in mural painting techniques, with a particular focus on frescoes, taught by Professor Bedini (1999-2000). Since 2020, he has been taking advanced courses in realist painting, with a particular focus on portraiture and the human figure, with the painter Luca Morelli.
