*Alessandra Scarapazzi*

Alessandra Scarapazzi, born in 1975, approaches painting through a spontaneous, self-taught path, which began with the study and reproduction of works by other artists as an exercise in observation and learning. In the course of her research, she discovered a particular affinity with the atmospheres and pictorial languages of Edward Hopper and Jack Vettriano, references that have helped to nurture her artistic sensibility.

A significant role in her growth has been played by her encounter with Master Stefano Zampieri, her mentor and artistic guide, whose support and teaching have allowed her to develop greater expressive awareness and confidence in her own abilities. Also fundamental has been the encouragement of those closest to her, who have accompanied and sustained the evolution of her creative journey.

Her production develops mainly through acrylic on canvas, exploring different subjects and suggestions. Her works take shape from emotions, memories, images and narratives, transforming personal experiences and visual impressions into pictorial compositions. Her research is characterized by an intuitive approach, in which the emotional and narrative dimensions play a central role.

What was initially born as a spontaneous interest has gradually transformed into an artistic practice cultivated with growing commitment and awareness.

Her works are present in private collections. In 2026 she is among the participating artists in “Oltre i confini” (Beyond Boundaries), a collective contemporary art exhibition included in the official program of the 11th edition of Rome Art Week, scheduled from October 23 to 25 at Galleria La Porta dell'Arte, in the Trastevere district of Rome.
