My name is Isabella Lacquaniti, and I hold a specialized degree in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. I work as an editing assistant in television. During my studies, I was part of Dia Logos, a traveling contemporary art project in the villages of Italy, which resulted in a catalog published by Artemide. I studied in Istanbul for a year.

In Rome, I worked as a gallery assistant during a brief post-graduate internship at the White Noise Gallery. I’ve participated in several group exhibitions with installations and paintings; now I create in private—simple works, mainly on paper using quick techniques. At the moment, I read, work when I can, and sketch moments of everyday life and moods revisited with an ironic eye, because perhaps it won’t be beauty, but irony that will save the world?
