Tullio Princigallo @ Rome Art Week
Tullio Princigallo
Art is a way of painting the world as we perceive it deep within, through our feelings.
Data and contact details

My artistic journey began with analog photography, drawn by the medium's
extraordinary ability to capture light—serving both as a form of expression and
a tool for reflections. I currently focus on digital photography, exploring genres
such as still life, light painting, portrait and nature. From 2015 to 2022,
I attended a multi-year program of painting, drawing, and watercolor courses
at the Libera Accademia di Roma and in private studios.
My work as a painter moves between figuration and conceptual abstraction,
blending Romantic, Impressionist, dreamlike-Surrealist, and Neo-Symbolist
influences.
My figurative paintings evoke intimate emotions, while other works focus
on the theme of "Spazio-Tempismo" (Space-Time), seeking to represent
multi-perspective space within the continuity of time. I serve as a board
member for the Rome section of the Unione Cattolica Artisti Italiani (UCAI)
and am an active member of the "SpazioTempismo" art movement.
I exhibit my work both in Italy and abroad. I have received awards in
various photography competitions, including the "Photosophia contest: Cogli
l’attimo" (2019); the UCAI multidisciplinary competition for the 2025 Jubilee,
"La Speranza" (Hope); the Bonito Photo Contest jury prize (2024); and
the Messina Art national painting competition (2025).
My photographs have been published in the catalog *Lazio: Immagini di
una regione* by the Italian Federation of Photographic Associations (FIAF)
and in the book *Borghi da salvare: Viaggio fotografico nell’Umbria*.
Some of my paintings have been featured on book covers, including
*Preatorio* (2025) and O. Inglese’s *Un Maestro* (2024). and/or published
in the catalogue “IMMAGINARIO, la fantasia diventa arte”, Promoterr
Viareggio 2025.
