Data and contact details

Maryna Kurovska is a Ukrainian artist living and working in Italy, whose practice is rooted in contemporary symbolic painting. In her work, material and relief are not decorative elements but integral parts of her artistic language. Using acrylic and texture paste, she creates surfaces in which volume, texture, and contrasts of light and shadow give symbols a tangible presence and contribute to the meaning of each work. Her painting explores change, time, and the inner journey of the human being, with particular attention to the search for inner support during periods of transformation. The Path to Oneself is the central project of her artistic practice, a visual journey through obstacles and change towards the possibility of reconnecting with one’s own inner centre.
