- My name is Carla Campea and I am a Neon PopArt artist, I create lively and bright works, which mix the tradition of Pop Art, with the modern aesthetics of neon, hand-blown Murano cane.
- My creations are characterized by bright colors and bold shapes, which capture the viewer's attention.
- Born and raised in Rome, I began my artistic career, experimenting with different mediums, before discovering my great passion for the art of Neon.
- I graduated from the 5th Experimental Art School in Rome, where I trained with teachers, of the caliber of Cesare Tacchi, masters, who made history in the Roman art scene of the time.
- I won the competition at the ISEF in Rome, another great passion of mine that will give me the opportunity to study and deepen the human body, through sport, with studies of anatomy and physiology, which will then be used to shape the wax, to create sculptures and figurative microsculptures.
- I attend university courses in Art History and
- I collaborate with the workshops of Roman master goldsmiths and artistic ateliers, between Campo de' Fiori and Monti, fundamental places, for an artistic and cultural exchange, which have made me absorb, styles and influences, thanks to the meeting with great artists such as Schifano
- In 2007 I opened my gallery-atelier, "Arteinregola" in the heart of the historic center of Rome, near Campo de' Fiori, where I propose, exhibitions and events, jewelry courses, masters on figurative microsculpture, creating small sculptures between reality, fantasy and mythology. I work on university projects with Upter and with brands such as "Freddy" and Harley-Davidson
- I participate as an artist in the international events of "Oro di Roma" in the most beautiful and exclusive locations in Rome and in the United States, many of my works are part of private collections all over the world.
- In 2020 my artistic-pictorial path has a strongly chromatic and emotional evolution, following in the footsteps of Pop-Art, to be more and more, an expression of a contemporary historical era.
- My path, as a Neon Pop Artist, is a new, modern language, dropped into my time, with a strong "sense of contemporaneity" that is also evident in the choice of materials; enamel paints, fluorescent spray paints and neon.
- I believe that in this way I represent the essence of my being, of my true nature, where the two strong entities "pictorial" and "sculptural of the jewel" are no longer in antithesis, but in a union of innovative strength
- From here, works are born where color, resins, three-dimensional materials, jewels, plexiglass and Neon lights, give the work a new three-dimensional perspective, artistic and decorative.
- My works are present in the most important international fairs, shops and exhibitions, in galleries, and art spaces in Rome, New York, Capri, Salerno, the Amalfi Coast and Australia
- On the occasion of RAW 2024 I have the pleasure of inaugurating and opening the doors of my New Space .. "New Factory Home"
