"Artists do not create solutions. We, the artists, generate questions, promote reflection and dialogue, and, when possible, invite action.
This does not make it a minor issue; on the contrary, there is nothing more important for transformation than when people ask questions, reflect, dialogue, and define an action. In this way, we will all be together in the same corner of the ring."
My visual practice includes painting, photography, and poetry. Through painting and poetry, there is a more abstract, introspective, and emotional exploration. Photography, on the other hand, is an exercise in understanding that obeys the intention to immortalize the "encounter." In this way, I seek to capture moments where life is celebrated, life hurts us, life makes us feel absolutely alone, where life brings us together and where it separates us.
