http://Giovanna Ingrascì, a 75-year-old Sicilian, lives and works in Rome, in her studio at Via Monterone 18, near Largo di Torre Argentina. A solid literary and legal education and frequent visits to the most important museums (Rome, Florence, London, Paris, New York, St. Petersburg, etc.) have driven her to cultivate her passion for painting with commitment and perseverance. Under the tutelage of excellent teachers (Luigi Caflish and Cesare Circonciso), since the 1990s she has mastered the most common painting techniques: in particular, watercolor and oil on canvas. Subsequently, after moving to Rome, she furthered her studies, attending the Academy of Fine Arts and graduating with honors in 2015 with a master's degree in Painting. Her first watercolor exhibition dates back to 2002, at the BBC headquarters in London; This was followed by various group exhibitions in the Etna area, and in 2011, in Catania, his first solo exhibition: "The Dance of Life - Journey Through the Cultures of the World." After moving to Rome, he participated in various initiatives and group exhibitions in institutional venues: some of his works have been published in prestigious magazines. Among his most recent activities are: in 2023, the solo exhibition "Transiti e approdi," curated by Jacopo Suggi; in 2024, an observatory on the techniques and dynamics adopted in the creation of his works; and in 2025, the solo exhibition "Le carte di Giò," of ink paintings, in support of the humanitarian projects of INTERSOS. His latest work is "Speranza 25," an oil on canvas measuring 3.5 x 2 meters.
