Fabio Pagliarin was born in 1965 in Rome, where he lives and works. In 2012 he began his activity by participating in the painting-sculpture workshops of the artist Anna Maria Angelucci. The methodological approach used combines the rigor of technical training with extreme expressive freedom through experimentation with materials, pigments and acrylic colours. In November 2020 he opened the “Officine MDF” Art Studio together with Maria Grazia Perrelli and Daniele Giacomini, with whom he shared his educational and artistic path, and it is an opportunity to explore new boundaries. “In the initial period, the creative process was always born from images, then looking for the tool that I felt was most adequate and suitable to represent them, to make them come alive. For some time now I have tried to reverse the order by focusing on color and pictorial technique to find a new expressive way. In the evolutionary process of research, through this technique, the reciprocal relationship between light and matter arose: one makes the other exist. The work was to free the image of the form, leaving the expressive potential to the color.”
