Giuseppe Cecchini's research essentially concerns the human condition, its essence and its becoming. His pictorial gesture is quick and direct also to capture the complex aspects of everyday life, between irony and tragedy. The “realist” scenes of his paintings are constructed using shapes and colors of common visual experience. His subjects are caught in a still image that alludes to a metaphysical condition. In his paintings the main characteristics that distinguish him in the current artistic panorama are: the immediate expression, the elaborate color and the strongly marked sign.
