I was born in Rome, Italy, in 1975. I am a figurative artist whose work is deeply influenced by the western tradition but at the same time I like to experiment with new mediums and different approaches, depending on the idea.My subjects are often single figures that live and act in a space that is suggested rather than described. They reflect my interest for the expressive, formal and narrative possibilities connected to the representation of the human beeing. My reference images are drawn from my everyday life and from the reworking of personal memories. Through painting I want to create a new relationship with this images and between these images to eventually transform them into something different that holds a sense of revelation to me.
