Spazio Chirale is a multifunctional structure, located in the Garbatella district of Rome at 32 and 34 via Ignazio Persico.
The furnishing and lighting are those typical of an art gallery, as the area is often used as an exhibition space for design and interactive electronics works. The exhibition logic is that of the "Process Gallery" where the object of the show is not the final work, but the process articulated in craft and digital phases that led to the creation of the work itself.
The Multifunctional Gallery houses the Chirale Study Center of the Digital Innovation Hub in Rome and is the venue for courses, events, and workshops dedicated to Fashion Tech, Electronics, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Industry 4.0, Innovative Manufacturing, and Digital Fabrication.
In the semi-basement, there is a fully-equipped Fab Lab according to the standards of the Fab Foundation, enriched by additional structures and facilities such as the analog darkroom, the e-textiles lab, and the fine art digital lab.
The Space, open since 2015, is managed by Chirale Srl, a company specialized in artistic productions and in the application of innovative technologies in Art, Fashion, and Design.
At Spazio Chirale, significant events and modern art exhibitions have been organized with the display of works by internationally renowned contemporary artists, including: Maurizio Mochetti, Daniele Sigalot, Gonzalo Borondo, Fabrizio Cicero, Salvatore Iaconesi and Oriana Persico, Roberto Pietrosanti.
Works produced in the Spazio Chirale laboratory have been acquired by the Farnesina Collection, the National Gallery of Modern Art, and MAXXI.
