"BAR" is a collection of side stories that have as their great theater the city of Rome. Within a psycho-geographical journey, some characters with different experiences tell slices of life sometimes melancholy, other funny or dramatic. These stories, apparently unrelated to each other as if they were bar tales, are flanked by the minimal and mystical stories of the eternal city. These are little known or marginal stories, fascinating for their enigmatic and unknown nature. Thus, a new face of Rome and of the people who live there emerges, a chorus of stories that change every time they are told, just as the territory in which one lives and the horizon one looks at change continuously. The filmic journey is characterized by a minimal aesthetic and a strongly connoted narration.
