18 October 2018 6.00 pmGruppo Cooperativo CGM Via Torino 153 - Entry on Via Massimo D'Azeglio | RomeOn 18th October 2018 at 6.00 pm, at the Gruppo Cooperativo CGM headquarters, it will open a preview of the Bianche Rose project by Alessandra di Francesco, curated by Roberta Melasecca."Bianche Rose is a project through which Alessandra Di Francesco, using different media, leads us by the hand to discover the complex world and the hard life of African albinos, choosing to set a beacon on a thorny, socio-political issue, on the humble and silent life of long discriminated people. With the same painstaking delicacy that the artist uses to give life to the fragments of pictorial works, with the same creative power with which he caresses the preciousness of certain delicate fabrics, with subdued steps he approaches and brings us closer to ethereal creatures, children of the moon .She looks at them from a distance, observes them, almost frightened by the sacredness that emanates from their skin and their eyes. She is fascinated by the beauty, sweet beauty of the movements, the choirs and the dances. Fragile. Fragility of the most human fragility. Even I approach in silence. In silence, in a few words, I approached Alessandra's work. Why, what today this artist so deep and articulate presents is only the beginning of a road that we are traveling together. In contemplation, to bring even those who are reflected in her work on the children of the moon, will instead want to utter his voice."(Roberta Melasecca)The artist has chosen to present the preview of the project in an unconventional space but deeply linked to social projects. In fact, the Gruppo Cooperativo CGM was set up to network and promote social cooperatives throughout Italy, active both in the more traditional fields of personal care - minors, the elderly, immigrants, the disabled - and in emerging and frontier sectors - environment, living, technology , art and culture, tourism, support for work. The project is promoted by Interno 14 next, with the collaboration of the Gruppo Cooperativo CGM.
